Model A: For Private/Residential Use

The “Handicaptain Model A” is Personal Transfer System and Marine Handicap Chair designed specifically to help folks with mobility restrictions to safely get on and off boats kept in a Boat Hoist OR a Boat House. A high-grade aluminum-cast Trolley Rail is securely attached to the framework of a boat hoist canopy so our moving Trolley Mechanism, a Self Operable Lift Motor, and a comfortable chair or Sling can easily glide people back and forth over their boat while it waits in the cradle of the boat hoist. The “Trolley Rail” is cantilevered over the dock for safe and easy passenger “pick-ups” and “returns” to and from the dock. The waterproof Lift Motor runs on two, reliable and re-chargeable, electric batteries and can be hand controlled by the user or a helper if necessary by pushing large Up and Down buttons on an attached Control Lanyard. The WWII Army Veteran who this System was originally designed for, loved “getting the keys back” to his favorite pastime of pleasure boating on his lake. Creating autonomous, universal access to, and use of our Natural Resources is the very purpose of our company and when it comes to pleasure boating the “Handicaptain” literally delivers! The “Handicaptain Model B” is a Personal Transfer System and Marine Handicap Chair Lift designed specifically to help folks with mobility restrictions to safely get on and off boats that come and go from Marinas. In this “System,” our high-grade aluminum-cast Trolley Rail is securely attached into the upper framework of a sturdy, Post and Beam structure we call a “Handicaptain Hut” which gets built right into the Marina’s Existing Dock System along a walkway where boats can easily come and go for passenger “pick-ups” and “returns.”
The “Handicaptain Model B” has a moving Trolley Mechanism, a Self or Helper Operable Lift Motor, a Comfortable Seat or Sling for gliding people back and forth and is very similar to the functionality of a “Handicaptain Model A” however, a “Handicaptain Model B” is designed to pick people up from a Marina dock and put them out onto a waiting Boat and then, after excursions, pick people up from their boat and Bring Them Back Safely to the Marina Dock.”
